June 28 is National Insurance Awareness Day and less than a week later, on the Fourth of July, we celebrate Independence Day. Americans spent about $885 million on 4th of July fireworks in 2017 and the American Pyrotechnics Association estimates that fireworks revenues could top $900 million in 2018. This is the perfect time to brush up on your knowledge of fireworks safety and how potential damage or injury could be covered by your insurance policies.
